I had my first appointment with Dana Sunshine for deep tissue, cupping, and chronic pain. She knows her stuff and is highly intuitive. All I have to say is John is a miracle worker! When I went to see him I could barely move my neck and my lower back was in constant pain. Let me preface by saying I have been to SEVERAL massage therapists & none (within one session) been able to give me pain relief. Sara gave me a great deep tissue massage! I'd been having problems with my left leg and she helped me find the problem and release some of the pain. Truly a life changing massage with John. I called Prestige yesterday to see if they could get me in the same night and they were able to with John! He was extremely kind and attentive of what was causing me pain. He was communicative throughout the massage to make sure the pressure was okay. This was my first visit with John. I have had chronic lower back pain for over two years. After trying PT, chiropractic, and exercise with no relief, I decided to try a deep-tissue massage on the advice of my physician. It was an intense experience, but John seems to be a highly skilled and knowledgeable massage therapist who was genuinely focused on doing all he could to address my pain. He communicated during the session and explained what he was doing throughout. Two days later, I can feel a real difference in my lower back. I’ll be back for a follow-up!

He’s very attuned to your bodies cues as he works on you and checks regularly to make sure the pressure isn’t too much. I would highly recommend for anyone who hasn’t been previously satisfied with a deep tissue massage.

I was in town for a breathwork certification but the camp we stayed at had horrible beds. I drove 7 hours and had tons of knots in my back. I was able to schedule with John and he worked his magic! He started working on my back and said the tissue was like a solid rock. He told me he was not going to let me leave until he got me fixed. John even through in cupping for free because of how bad my back was. When he first started the massage I would twitch with just gentle pressure but by the end no more twitching and tons of relief. He did so well I could literally feel the stress in my body fade away as he worked his magic! Thanks so much John you were a life saver or shall I say back saver for my trip!

John was phenomenal, gets very deep, and helped work out lots of pain all through my back. Then he found overworked spots I didn't even know were there! I really appreciate the extra time and effort he added in because I was so tense.

I had a one hour hot stone massage with John. My only regret was that it wasn’t longer! I’ve already booked my next, for 90 minutes. The facility was clean and calm. John used the needed pressure but checked with me along the way to ensure I was comfortable. He worked through many of my knots and I’m going to try to do this regularly to keep these at bay. Had a first massage with John and it was incredible. I’m no stranger to professional massages and I have a very specific area that acts up and have been through many massage therapists to find the right one in my old city of nashville. I was bummed to lose out on my old one when I moved to Knoxville recently, but I came across John and couldn’t be happier. He knew exactly what I needed and was able to feel the exact spot that needed the most work without me telling him. It’s hard to find a deep tissue that really targets the areas I need and he was able to accomplish that. 5/5 recommend this place.
As a CMT of 23 years, I would like to say that my massage with John was hands down the best I’ve had in years! John worked endlessly to relieve my tight muscles and leaving me feeling wonderful. The three things I’d like to see differently is, if you start face up, relax the brain and neck, the body follows easier and you don’t get oil in the hair or face. Finish with the feet because they are the most important to your overall system. Lastly, stretches could be more gradual and less forced. Thank you John, I feel like a million bucks!

I have a sports injury with rotator cuffdamaged. I have been seeing John for deep tissue massage, and would highly recommend him. He knows exactly where to work and the pressure needed. After seeing him twice I have greatly improved my range of motion, after having this injury for almost six months with little improvement.

This was my 2nd massage this past Friday with John & boy, oh boy! It was amazing. He knows his stuff. My partner had Wraquel. She's also amazing. John went above and behindBeyond on my traps & upper back. I could feel it in my toes. It was so good. Worth the money & I love that you earn points with each booking that you can use to book later. John has gone above and beyond to ensure my pain decreases every time! He is truly passionate about helping his clients feel better - not just helping you to relax for an hour. I believe my therapist was “John”, if I remember his name correctly. He had a fantastic touch . I would totally recommend to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy a great massage! Also he did such a phenomenal job on my neck and shoulders that I feel like my range of motion was greatly improved! So much so that I couldn’t believe it! Very therapeutic!!!! John was terrific. I told him my problem and he fixed it. He didn't try to upsell me or tell me I was wrong. He listened and I left in a better place physcially.

Wow!!! Top Notch! I left my 90 minute session “massage drunk”!!!! Wraquel is masterful. I typically do not like deep massages because many therapist drive to deep to quickly. Wraquel spends the time to find the trouble spots and eases into deep massage for maximum impact with the most comfort possible. Incredible. Thank you Wraquel. Truly the most recharged I have ever felt after a massage.
My husband and I had never had a professional massage before our visit today. We made a couples massage appointment and we were very pleased with the services provided. Scheduling beforehand was a breeze, we felt welcome upon arrival and the massage was incredible! We both walked out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I frequently schedule massages to relax from stressful work weeks and the effects of having an office job where I am seated for a large part of my day. I tried out Prestige today, because it is hard to schedule last minute at my regular place. After my 30 minute session I have to say I have another regular place! He focused on my neck and shoulders and released so much tension it was unreal. Booked another session immediately.
I’ve visited a lot of different masseuses before and very few could compare to the work John did. He intuitively found the areas that needed the most work and truly cared to do a good job. I got a lot of relief and relaxation from my experience. John is super strong and will go as deep into the tissue as needed, but also provide a relaxing experience if that’s your preference. I’ll be coming back to him for all my massages going forward.
I was so very pleased with my first experience here and I will definitely be back. John was absolutely amazing! He immediately recognized that I was having issues moving my head so he did a quick range of motion assessment on me and really tailored my massage to help provide relief to my target areas I was having issues. He went above and beyond to ensure my neck, back, and arms were tension free. He is a true professional and you can easily see he has a passion for massage therapy and helping his clients. This was my first massage i ever had and I really loved the whole experience. They hade many options to pick from and were really nice. I’ve hade a pain in my shoulder for about three years and by the time i left it was gone completely. The person that did my massage was Cade she was really nice and all was made sure I was comfortable and that made me feel way more calm with this new experience. I wish i could do this everyday and look forward to going back to try more of there massages
I really enjoyed my experience here. It was really easy to schedule an appointment and they had last minute availability. Their First Time Massage package was a great deal and I liked the choice of hot stone massage. The room had a great vibe and was relaxing. I got to choose the pressure and the masseuse checked in and adjusted until it was perfect. I’m definitely going to come back.

The staff did a great job creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for a couples massage. They made sure to check in about pressure, certain areas to focus on, etc. The aromatherapy and hot stones were a great addition. We will definitely be back!

One of the best massages I’ve had in the Knoxville area. I had a lot of back pain and a John really worked to find the knots and work out my pain. The day after my massage my back felt so much better and I didn’t wake up in pain. I highly recommend this place!
So I rarely leave reviews however Prestige Massage deserves the best! Carole is amazing! I suffer from chronic shoulder pain and carry tension throughout my shoulders and neck. She provided a professional and therapeutic massage which helped greatly. I am thankful that I found a licensed, knowledgeable, and caring establishment.

Went to Prestige for a relaxation massage but upgraded to a deep tissue. This was probably one of the most intense massages but in a good way. Lots of time and effort was spent on my knots and tight muscles. It felt very therapeutic. John was great and I was comfortable the whole time. He continually checked in to make sure the pressure was good and seemed to really enjoy helping people. The office was clean tasteful and inviting. Tables were cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend!

John was my therapist and he was incredible. I had a mix of relaxing and more deep tissue type massage all in one with hot stones and aromatherapy. He knew where to find all of my pain points and gently worked them out. I feel somehow like I grew a few inches too. Can’t wait to go back to see John. Intro session price was excellent and worth it for everyone to at least try.

I got a post-natal massage done by Wraquel and she was exactly what I needed! I am 5 weeks postpartum and I have been still been having some mild back pain. Wraquel was very understanding and knew exactly what to do. I highly recommend prestige massage!
